Ja'kima Price
As I take a deep breath
I step back and couldn't be death
because of this bright color beam
The battle between real and pretend
I'm right between them
They often seem to blend
This causes so much mayhem
I try to see the good in the world
All the bright possibilities
All the colors seem so swirled
All of its glorious beauties
I know what I see isn't real
But I try to keep the lies away
But it's something about the way I feel
That feels so cliche
This world that I see
Is nothing but a fake
So just let me be
While I deal with this ache
